This beautiful quilt was a prizewinner at the State Fair of Texas. Not only did the quilt win a blue ribbon but it also garnered an additional award, The Ruth Anderson Award for Interpretation and Originality of Design. Each handkerchief has small detailed embroidery or appliqué at its corner and the hankies hang free and loose. The hand-quilted corners of the quilt are an original multicolor design.
